Reading - Students are working on using background knowledge and text clues to infer meaning when they read. We have also been working on building fluency an comprehension.
Writing - Students are working on word choice. They are working on making their writing sparkle by using colorful adjectives.
Math - Third graders are working on finding area and perimeter. Second graders are working on solving cross number puzzles.
Social Studies - We are working on finishing the research for our biographies.
Science - We are on how the sun effects the weather.

Reading - Students are working on using background knowledge and text clues to infer meaning when they read.
Writing - Students are working on organizing their writing to fit their topic. They are also learning to use the suffixes -er and -est when describing.
Math - Third graders are working with breaking large arrays into small arrays. Second graders are working on polygons, congruent figures, similar figures, and symmetry.
Social Studies - We are working on personal time lines and biographies.
Science - We are working on why thunderstorms occur.
